BUTTAH was well placed just off the pace, moved forward to make a bid outside the nine-sixteenths pole, vied in the three path on the turn, was asked near the quarter-pole, battled outside of ACOUSTIC AVE into the final furlong, shook off that foe into the final sixteenth and prevailed under steady handling. DOC SULLIVAN broke near the back of the field, angled in while urged along at the rear, went around the turn in the two then three path, moved out while gaining in the drive and finished with good energy to garner the place. ACOUSTIC AVE tracked the pace on the outside, was given his cue in the four path on the turn, gained to make a bid at the quarter-pole, battled outside of the winner while remaining on his inside lead, fought with that foe until the sixteenth-pole and was outfinished then lost the place but was clear for the show. LIGHT MAN moved out entering the main-track, settled off the pace, was roused in the three path on the turn, swung out to the six path into the stretch and improved position. HIT THE POST went to the front and set the pace, vied inside while asked on the turn, lost the advantage under a drive into upper stretch, dropped back into the final furlong and tired. EL GRANDE O pressed the early pace then dropped back, chased inside on the turn and weakened. DONEGAL SURGES broke at the rear, moved in while urged along towards the back, navigated the turn in the two path, came out to the five path into the stretch and failed to threaten. DR. KRAFT broke in and near the back, moved up to race in the front half of the field, was asked in the two path on the turn, chased into upper stretch and came up empty. YO BANANA BOY was urged along on the outside, dropped from the five path to the four path on the turn, spun into the stretch in the five path and lacked the needed response. DRAKE'S PASSAGE settled well off the pace, traveled around the turn in the four path and was no factor. BOLD JOURNEY angled in towards the rear of the field, moved from the rail to the two path on the turn and also was no factor. RADIO RED settled on the outside, was urged along in the five path on the turn, came into the stretch in the seven path and failed to respond.
