Footnotes
GLACIUS (GB) was coaxed leaving the gate, moved up to get the lead while in hand on the opening straightaway, went clear on the first turn, showed the way on the inside, responded well when asked on the final turn, spun into the stretch in the two path, came under a right-handed crop outside the furlong marker, switched to a left-handed crop outside the sixteenth-pole and held under strong urging. WEST END KID showed speed on the outside, was carried out nearing the first turn, tucked into the three path while taken back on that bend, was rated outside in third position, came under urging leaving the backstretch, chased on the far turn in the two then three path, turned into upper stretch under a drive, came out while in pursuit of the winner at the furlong marker and swapped back to his inside lead, drifted in near the sixteenth-pole and earned the place. TITLE ROLE (GB) settled on the inside, was roused on the final turn, came into the stretch in the three path, moved in while remaining on his inside lead at the furlong marker, pursued the winner into the final sixteenth, swapped to the proper lead shortly thereafter and finished with good courage for the show. REMEMBER MAMBA was asked a bit leaving the gate, saved ground on the first turn, was reserved off the pace, came under light urging late on the backstretch, was roused for more in the two then three path on the final turn, spun into the stretch in the four path, chased under a drive past the eighth-pole, drifted about in the final furlong and gained some to just miss the show. THE BIG CON (GB) angled in early, became rank under restraint while behind a foe with a mile to run, went around the first turn in the three to four path, was reserved outside without cover, traveled around the far turn in the three then two path, moved out under a drive in upper stretch and lacked the needed response. HEEERE'S JOHNNY saved ground while unhurried at the rear, was roused on the far turn, shifted to the two path outside the quarter-pole, turned into upper stretch under a drive, angled out nearing the furlong marker and failed to threaten. GLAVINE broke in then was hustled, showed speed on the inside then dropped back and moved out, rounded the turn in the two then three path, followed the solo leader from second, chased in the two path on the far turn and came up empty. MCCREADY was last to commence, rounded the first turn in the three path, was reserved outside without cover, came under urging in the three then four path on the far turn, was driven into the stretch in the five path and was no factor.
