SOVEREIGNTY raced just off the inside through the first turn before tipping five paths off the rail down the backstretch settling unhurried near the rear of the field, tucked four wide at the half mile pole and came under light coaxing with seven-sixteenths to go, advanced steadily through the far turn and angled five to six wide into upper stretch, got fully engaged by the rider straightened away for home, rallied with good energy to collar the leader a furlong out, drew clear under a drive to prevail. NITROGEN stumbled at the break recovering outwards a step and broke towards the front despite it, established the front and showed the way in hand just off the inside, had MAGNITUDE get on near even terms seven and a half furlongs from home before taking back sole command and crossing in front of that rival before straightened down the backstretch, settled into a comfortable rhythm just off the inside under the watchful eyes of ANTIQUARIAN to the outside through moderate splits, tucked to the inside half a mile from home and remained on hold through the far turn as rivals in behind got busy, spun three wide into upper stretch, dug in under a drive getting directed out a path to be able to see SOVEREIGNTY and was caught a furlong out, drifted out despite being shown a right handed crop while running on willingly to the finish to secure the place honors. ANTIQUARIAN forwardly placed three wide through the first turn, prompted the pace of NITROGEN from the outside three then two wide coming under encouragement three furlongs from home, angled four wide into upper stretch and kept on to the finish to preserve the show honors. BAEZA got away to a hesitant start when off a beat slower than the rest of the field, crossed directly to the two path and remained just off the inside through the first turn before tipping three to four paths off the rail down the backstretch, tucked to the two path briefly half a mile from home before tipping out three wide at the five-sixteenths put to encouragement to hook up with his barn mate SOVEREIGNTY through the latter portion of the turn, couldn't stay with that one and went six wide into upper stretch, improved position through to the finish. MAGNITUDE stumbled at the break, recovered to be forwardly placed along the inside through the first turn and flirted with command seven and a half furlongs from home before being outgunned to the front into the backstretch, briefly made light contact with the rail into the backstretch before settling to track the top pair just off the pace two to three paths off the inside, tucked inside half a mile from home, came under urging at the seven-sixteenths pole, spun just off the inside into upper stretch and tired. WHITE ABARRIO four then three wide into and through the first turn, chased just off the pace four then three wide coming under a ride with seven-sixteenths remaining, angled five wide into upper stretch and tired.
