ADMIRALTY got brushed at the break by TOMMY TANG, who broke outwards, chased four to five paths off the inside down the backstretch, tucked three wide through the turn and advanced on the top pair isolated between those two rivals and the rest of the field in behind, swung five then four wide into upper stretch, dug in under a drive latching on the top pair just outside the eighth pole, came in slightly and bounced IMPLIED OPEN around lightly in tandem with MYSTRIX a sixteenth out, battled head to head to the finish and just got the nod on the wire. MYSTRIX got bumped at the start by STONE AGED and came under hustling to establish the front soon after, showed the way in hand three then two wide and came under steadily increasing pressure from IMPLIED OPEN through the turn until engaged in head to head combat with five-sixteenths to go, spun three then two wide into upper stretch, dug in under threat and was joined outside by the top one near the eighth pole, clung to command coming out slightly a sixteenth out and bumped around IMPLIED OPEN in concert with ADMIRALTY and was headed narrowly at that station, fought on and just lost the bob on the line. IMPLIED OPEN raced four wide in aim of the front before tucking three wide into the turn and steadily increasing pressure on the aforementioned foe until engaging that rival in a duel from the five-sixteenths marker, swung four wide into upper stretch, dug in head to head and got joined outside by the eventual winner, fought on between rivals getting bounced around lightly a sixteenth out and gamely ran on through to the finish undeterred. MAGICAL MIKEL chased along the inside under a ride from three furlongs out, spun just off the inside into upper stretch, weakened. SHARPLY DRESSED got bumped at the start by LIVE breaking inwards, chased just off the inside under a ride from the seven-sixteenths pole, tipped out four wide into upper stretch and made no headway. STONE AGED broke out at the start bumping MYSTRIX, chased five paths off the inside down the backstretch before tucking inside through the turn coming under coaxing at the three-eighths marker, angled five wide into upper stretch and offered no rally. CODE OF ARMS broke awkwardly at the start and then got steadied after the break, chased six to seven paths off the inside down the backstretch before tucking inside through the turn, came under a ride three furlongs out, angled seven wide into upper stretch and made no impact. IRON CONFESSOR chased five paths off the rail down the backstretch before tucking to the two path half a mile from home, tipped three wide into upper stretch and made no impact. LIVE broke in brushing the near side stall at the start before bumping SHARPLY DRESSED, chased three wide under a ride from the seven-sixteenths pole, angled eight wide into upper stretch and tired. TOMMY TANG broke out at the start brushing ADMIRALTY, chased two to three wide, got out despite a firm left hand grip and right crop at the seven-sixteenths four to five wide, angled seven wide into upper stretch and faltered in the drive.
