OSCAR tracked the pace along the inside patiently handled, took the inside route into upper stretch and was behind the leader on hold until that rival drifted off the hedge with three-sixteenths to go, got roused along the inside and rallied with a quick burst to seize command just inside the eighth pole, dug in under threat to the outside and knocked heads to the finish and just held on at the wire. BOLD LEADERSHIP raced three wide through the first turn, chased three wide coming under a ride from the five-sixteenths, angled five then four wide into upper stretch, issued a challenge through the final furlong and just lost the nod on the line. MO MISERY struck the off side stall at the start, chased along the inside coming under a ride near the quarter pole, angled four wide into upper stretch and offered up a mild kick. TIME IN MOTION showed the way in hand along the inside coming under encouragement with five-sixteenths to run, took the inside route into upper stretch, came off the hedge slightly with three-sixteenths to go and had a rival come up the inside and was displaced by that foe just inside the eighth pole, then weakened in the late stages. DJOKOVIC leapt at the break, chased two to three wide coming under coaxing near the quarter pole, angled six wide into upper stretch and improved position to the finish. PORT IN A STORM settled along the inside at the tail of the field, came under urging just off the inside nearing the top of the stretch, went seven wide into upper stretch, offered up a mild bid but was outkicked. BERTA'S STITCH chased just off the inside coming under encouragement with five-sixteenths to go, spun three wide into upper stretch and offered no kick. JUST JOE three wide through the first turn, chased three wide coming under coaxing with seven-sixteenths to go, spun three wide for home and weakened in the late stages. AREQUIPE broke awkwardly hitting the near side stall at the start and then bobbling, raced three then two wide through the first turn, attended the leader from the outside in the two path, came under coaxing three furlongs out, spun just off the inside into upper stretch and tired.
