Footnotes
SAINT DYMPHNA was well placed just off the pace, moved from the two path to the four path while taken in hand early on the turn then dropped back to the three path, made a bid at the five-sixteenths pole, took the lead in upper stretch, shook clear under a drive into the final furlong and just held under strong urging. CARPET CITY bumped with BUCCHERITA at the start while off a step slow then bumped with NATER TOT, moved up near the half-mile pole, tossed her head many times leaving the backstretch then lugged out into the three path entering the turn, dropped to the two path shortly thereafter under extra left-rein pressure, steadied off heels coming to the quarter-pole, found room and was roused into upper stretch, rallied into the final furlong, closed well to make a bid inside of the winner into the final sixteenth, fought with that opponent to the finish and just missed while able to get the place. ALL STAR LEIGH swerved in just after the start, moved in while settling off the pace, raced inside to the two path on the turn, was roused in the three path into the stretch, chased the winner into the final sixteenth, swapped back to her inside lead late and willingly earned the show. KINBOSHI bumped with FIRE ANGEL at the start then dropped back, was urged along near the rear, saved ground on the turn, cut the corner under a drive into the stretch, moved off the inside in the final furlong and improved with late energy for the last spot in the superfecta. COMETS CHOICE settled just off the pace, was carried out from the five path to the seven path on the turn, dropped back to the five path late on that bend, was asked for her best in upper stretch, moved in at the sixteenth-pole and lacked the needed kick. LEYTON ORIENT had some equipment adjusted behind the gate, was hustled from the start, chased the pace down the backstretch, was carried from the three path to the five path early on the turn, made her way back to the four then three path late on that bend, was roused near the quarter-pole and also lacked the needed kick. THE PAPER LADY angled in early then settled on the outside, went around the turn in the four then five path, swung out to the seven path into the stretch and failed to threaten. FIRE ANGEL bumped with KINBOSHI at the start, moved up under urging to race just off the pace, took the lead while lugging out from the inside to the three path early on the turn, dropped back to the two path then inside late on that bend, lost the advantage to the winner into upper stretch and tired. BUCCHERITA bumped with a rival at the start and was off a step slow, raced outside under urging while well off the pace, traveled around the turn in the three path, turned into upper stretch under a drive, steadied some while out of contention for the minor awards at the sixteenth-pole and was no factor. NATER TOT broke a step slow then bumped with a foe, settled at the rear, went around the turn in the two then three path, moved out in upper stretch and failed to threaten. BEACH LIFE pressed the pace on the far outside, was carried out from the four path to the six path by CYBER CLOUD on the turn, remained in the six path into the stretch and came up empty. CYBER CLOUD showed speed and set the pace off the inside, lugged out from the two path to the five path on the turn, lost the advantage in the process then dropped back, drifted further out while faltering in the final furlong and was eased but walked off.
