LADY WISDOM came out from the rail to the two path and bumped ICY LEGS on the first turn, prompted the pace on the outside on the leader, was given her cue in the three then four path on the far turn, came under a left-handed crop in upper stretch, pursued the runner-up into the final furlong, gained to get the lead outside the sixteenth-pole then drew clear under steady urging. OUR PREFERRED PAL was hustled to the front, dropped from the two path to the inside early on the first turn, showed the way on the inside of LADY WISDOM, went around the far turn in the two path, was asked approaching the quarter-pole, came under a left-handed crop in upper stretch, was collared by the winner outside the sixteenth-pole then switched to a right-handed crop and proved no match while well clear for the place. ICY LEGS was bumped by LADY WISDOM and forced from the two path to the three path on the first turn then dropped back before going back to the two path, settled at the rear, was urged along while inside for most of the far turn then shifted to the two path, spun into the stretch in the four path and was along for the show. ISLAND CHARM climbed some behind horses while saving ground on the first turn, settled off the pace, was asked leaving the backstretch, chased two path to the inside on the far turn, drifted out under a left-handed crop coming to the furlong marker and weakened. BABCIE was taken back after the start, moved from the three path to the four path on the first turn, advanced closer entering the backstretch, settled on the outside, was urged along in the four then three path on the far turn and came up empty. SPIRIT OF ESTHER raced in the three path on the first turn, settled off the pace, was urged along late on the backstretch, dropped back in the three path on the far turn, spun into the stretch in the five path and had nothing left.
