MASCARA angled in while going to the front then showed the way, dropped from the two path to the inside on the turn, responded well when put to a left-handed crop in upper stretch, switched to a right-handed crop just inside the furlong marker and held gamely under strong urging. CLOUDY CHANCE tossed her head slightly but broke even with the front, pressed the pace on the outside, vied in the three path under urging on the turn, fought outside of the winner under a drive in the stretch and missed but earned the place. VEKOMANCER moved in early then was well placed just off the pace, was asked in the two path on the turn, turned into upper stretch under a drive, moved out outside the furlong marker and finished willingly for the show. VINO FRIZZANTE was hustled from the gate then urged early before settling into stride, saved ground in hand on the turn, was roused outside the quarter-pole, cut the corner under a drive into the stretch and also finished willingly then earned the last spot in the superfecta. SPUN SIZE veered out at the start then bumped with ST. BRIGID'S CROSS, moved in early then settled off the pace, was urged along in the three path on the turn, came into the stretch in the five path and lacked the needed response. ST. BRIGID'S CROSS was bumped at the start, settled on the outside, was roused in the four path on the turn and failed to respond. CALLING AN AUDIBLE bobbled at the start, settled near the back, moved out around the nine-sixteenths pole, was asked in the four path on the turn, spun into the stretch in the five path then dropped in and came up empty. SANTAGATA tossed her head as the latch was sprung then broke out and checked sharply off heels, spotted the front several lengths, moved to the outside of the field, traveled around the turn in the five path, came out into upper stretch and faltered.
