GLEN AIRY was hustled from the gate, raced in the three path on the first turn, tracked the pace on the outside, gained in the four path on the far turn, made a bid outside the five-sixteenths pole, took the lead at the quarter-pole, shook clear under a drive outside the furlong marker, remained clear into the final sixteenth, swapped back to his inside lead late and held under strong urging. SHARP SPARK dropped from the three path to the two path early on the first turn, settled off the pace, chased in the two then three path on the far turn, gained on the leader in the process, was driven into the stretch in the four path and earned the place while unable to threaten the winner. APALTA veered out at the start then was corrected by the rider, dropped from the four path to the two path early on the first turn, settled off the pace, was urged along while moving from the two path to the four path on the far turn, gained into the stretch in the five path and lacked the needed kick while able to secure the show. PINEAPPLE MAN was sent hard from the gate, rounded the first turn in the two path, prompted the pace on the outside, took the lead at the seven-sixteenths pole, vied in the two to three path on the far turn, was asked outside the quarter-pole, lost the advantage at the top of the stretch, dropped back into the final furlong and tired.
