Q B ROCKET was hustled from the gate, showed speed then contested the pace on the inside of DECIMATION, vied along the rail on the turn, cruised into upper stretch under his own power, responded well when asked at the three-sixteenths pole, kicked clear outside the furlong marker, was kept to the task under a hand-ride into the final sixteenth then was eased up while best. CARD MAN was well placed just off the pace, moved from the rail to the two path on the turn, was roused near the quarter-pole then swung into the stretch in the four path and willingly earned the place. DECIMATION broke a bit awkwardly but came out in front then was hustled, disputed the pace on the outside of the winner, vied in three path under urging on the turn, dropped back under a drive in upper stretch and weakened while able to hold the show. VUKOTA tracked the pace on the outside, chased in the four path on the turn, was driven into the stretch in the five path and tired. DALLAS STAR broke awkwardly and was last away, raced at the rear under urging, went around the turn in the two then three path, came into the stretch in the four path and failed to threaten. HOOKED moved in while urged along off just off the early pace, dropped back late on the backstretch, saved ground on the turn and came up empty. KATZ IN THE CRADLE angled out under urging early then was ridden along on the outside, dropped from the four path to the two path on the turn, moved out in upper stretch and failed to respond. FARSIDEOFTHEMOON was hustled from the gate, tossed his head and steadied when HOOKED came in front outside the five-eighths pole, was ridden along towards the rear, dropped back leaving the backstretch, traveled around the turn in the three path, moved out in upper stretch and faltered.
