CITY BLOCKS showed speed then moved clear with about five furlongs to run, dictated terms while moving from the rail to the two path on the turn, responded well when asked once straightened for the drive and maintained a safe advantage under mostly a strong hand-ride. INTENTIOUS bobbled at the start, dropped back early then settled at the rear, was roused while saving ground on the turn, angled out while gaining late on that bend, reached the five path outside the quarter-pole, turned into upper stretch under a drive, pursued the winner to the finish and willingly earned the place. STRACA settled off the pace, was roused while saving ground on the turn, came under the crop near the quarter-pole, cut the corner into the stretch and lacked the needed response while best of the rest. GRACE AND GRIT was hustled from the gate, showed speed on the outside then chased the pace, went around the turn in the three path and tired. ACCELERATED NEWS brushed with a rival at the start, raced up close early then dropped back near the five-eighths pole, was urged along passing the nine-sixteenths pole, shifted out leaving the backstretch, went around the turn in the four path and came up empty. CRIMSON QUEEN lost her footing slightly in the hindquarters at the start but broke with the body of the field, showed speed then tracked the pace, chased in the two path on the turn and retreated. FARM HOUSE broke out and hit the gate, settled towards the rear, was urged along passing the five-eighths pole, traveled around most of the turn in the three path then moved to the five path and faltered then was eased in the final furlong but walked off.
