Footnotes
MIZTERTONIC settled two to three wide near the rear of the field, came under coaxing near the quarter pole, went seven wide into upper stretch, offered up a good finish to close stoutly on the outside and was just up in the final jump to the wire to score. OUTTAWATERBURY coaxed from the start, tracked the pace along the inside coming under coaxing near the quarter pole, swung four wide into upper stretch, dug in under a drive issuing a challenge inside the final furlong, seized command inside the final sixteenth leading to nearest the finish, then got nailed on the line. ORTUS broke out at the start, advanced to take command shortly after the start before conceding the front to the eager GOLDEN REIGN, went two to three wide through the first turn and then settled in closest aim of that rival three to four paths off the rail down the backstretch, tucked to the two path through the far turn coming under coaxing near the quarter pole, swung four to five wide into upper stretch set down for the drive, took over command straightened away, dug in under threat fending off all challengers until headed just inside the sixteenth pole, fought on to the end. AELFGAR tracked the pace along the inside, got let out spinning three wide into upper stretch, angled in to the inside around the backing away former leader near the sixteenth marker and kicked on belatedly to the finish. MO KREESA three to four wide through the first turn, chased three then two wide patiently handled until set down angled five wide into upper stretch, offered up a mild kick through the final furlong but was outfinished. COACH CASE three wide through the first turn, chased three wide coming under encouragement near the quarter pole, angled six wide at the head of the stretch, weakened in the late stages. NEW MATTHEW coaxed from the gate, saved ground near the rear of the field, came under motivation three furlongs from home, angled six wide into upper stretch and made no impact. GOLDEN REIGN struck the off side stall and then lunged at the start getting away last, pulled on the bit eagerly to the front heading four then three wide into the first turn before tucking to the two path into the backstretch, remained keenly pulling on the bit showing the way down the backstretch just off the inside before settling given a notch half a mile from home, tucked to the inside through the far turn and came under coaxing at the five-sixteenths, spun just off the inside into upper stretch under challenge, yielded the front straightened away and weakened through to the end. THE CRAFTSMAN chased two then three wide coming under coaxing near the quarter pole before being set down angled six to seven wide at the head of the stretch, and trailed.
