CARADISE showed speed on the inside of a foe, dropped back off the pace late on the backstretch, moved from the rail to the three path on the turn, moved back to the two path late on that bend then was roused, rallied into upper stretch, closed well to make a bid coming to the furlong marker, gained the advantage inside that marker, went clear outside the sixteenth-pole and prevailed under steady urging. FONZI ANGEL broke a bit slow then was taken up, spotted the front a few lengths, settled at the rear of the field, moved from the rail to the three path under urging on the turn, spun into the stretch in the four path then angled further out, shifted out more inside the furlong marker and finished willingly for the place. RIVER EMPRESS settled well off the pace, gained ground under urging late on the backstretch, chased in the four path on the turn, was driven into the stretch in the five path, made an outside bid around the three-sixteenths pole, battled outside of two opponents into the final furlong and weakened but held the show. PAN PAN broke in and hit the gate, drifted out early then stalked the pace on the outside, made a bid late on the backstretch, vied in the three path on the turn, took the lead near the five-sixteenths pole, spun into the stretch in the four path, led under a drive into the final furlong then was headed by the winner and tired. SERAPHINA SEA was urged along towards the front, dropped further off the pace late on the backstretch, went around the turn in the three then four path, spun into the stretch in the six path, was forced out inside the furlong marker and failed to rally. BEACH OF DREAMS came outward then was hustled from the gate, moved in while urged along on the outside, dropped further in around the nine-sixteenths pole, saved ground on the turn and came up empty. SMILING ROSIE moved in while urged along then was carried in, dropped back with five furlongs to run, came out near the nine-sixteenths pole, moved from the three path to the five path on the turn, drifted in outside the furlong marker and failed to respond. CHOPPIN BROCKLEY was hustled to the front, disputed the pace on the outside, dropped from the two path to the rail early on the turn, was asked under threat on that bend, lost the advantage near the five-sixteenths pole, was taken up while retreating quickly between horses shortly thereafter and stopped then was eased in the final furlong but walked off.
