TRUTH AND BEAUTY came away in good order then was hustled to the front, set the pace under pressure to her outside, vied along the hedge on the turn, was asked near the quarter-pole then kicked clear into upper stretch, came under a right-handed crop inside the three-sixteenths pole and drew off under steady urging. D J JAZZY (FR) settled off the pace, was roused in the five then four path on the turn, came out to the six path into upper stretch and improved for the place. SHADES OF JADE was hustled from the gate, pressed the pace on the outside, chased while dropping from the two path to the hedge on the turn, chased the winner in the stretch and missed the place while clear for the show. GIN'S BEACH ROAD chased the pace on the outside, made a bid leaving the backstretch, vied in the three path on the turn, dropped back under a drive in upper stretch and weakened. GET BACK LORETTA was hustled from the gate, angled in early then moved back out near the nine-sixteenths pole, raced between horses leaving the backstretch, went around the turn in the two path and lacked the needed response. FAST MARKET chased the pace down the backstretch, rounded the turn in the three to four path, dropped back into upper stretch and tired. MARITAL TRUST broke out and bumped with a rival, settled off the pace, moved in near the half-mile pole, shifted from the hedge to the two path on the turn, spun into the stretch in the three path and failed to rally. DANCING GIRL brushed the inside of the gate and was off slow, settled at the rear, traveled around the turn in the two path, angled out in upper stretch and failed to threaten. SONJA HENIE was bumped at the start, dropped back on the outside, navigated the turn in the three path, came out to the six path into upper stretch and was no factor. JUSTINE tracked the pace, checked while squeezed back between horses nearing the seven-sixteenths pole, went around the turn in the three path, spun into the stretch in the four path, swapped back to her inside lead near the furlong marker and came up empty. GELLHORN broke out and bumped with a foe, was eased back just off the pace, dropped back along the hedge on the turn and capitulated.
