CRISTOBAL coaxed from the gate, tucked to the three path briefly and then got carried out in tandem with THREE THIRTEEN three paths by KING OF FOG who got out down the backstretch, tucked three wide into the turn and was floated four wide as the leader continued to get out under a hard two hand hold, came under light coaxing near the quarter pole briefly able to tuck to the two path, swung four wide into upper stretch and was bumped straightened away by KING OF FOG coming out, rallied under a drive to issue a challenge inside the final furlong and was up with seventy yards to go, then inched away to the finish. THREE THIRTEEN struck the off side stall at the start, chased just off the inside briefly before being carried out three paths to the five path by KING OF FOG down the backstretch, tucked briefly three wide into the turn and was carried out four wide latched on to KING OF FOG, came under coaxing near the five-sixteenths and took command at that station, swung two to three wide at the head of the stretch, dug in under a drive coming under growing threat to the outside and was caught in the final seventy yards, then dug in and just held on for the place honors. MAKE A PREDICTION brushed the off side stall at the start under coaxing, chased three then two wide under a ride from the five-sixteenths, angled four wide into upper stretch, closed well and just missed for the place honors.
