TAKESCHARGESMILING was hustled from the gate, moved out while urged along towards the front, chased in the four path on the turn, gained to make a bid into upper stretch, dueled outside of the runner-up while side by side with that foe in the drive and gamely prevailed in a head-bobbing finish. GATSBY was hustled from the gate, showed speed then moved out outside the five-eighths pole, chased the leader on the outside, made a bid leaving the backstretch, vied in the three path on the turn, took the lead outside the quarter-pole, dueled determinedly inside of the winner in the stretch then lost the head-bob at the finish and was denied. TETSU bumped with a rival at the start, settled off the pace, was roused in the three path on the turn, dropped to the two path late on that bend, spun into the stretch in the three path and lacked the needed response while able to get the show. BEACHWALKER dropped well behind under urging, went around the turn in the two path and improved position without threatening. RITHM NIC broke awkwardly then brushed with a foe, was urged along on the far outside, went around most of the turn in the six path then dropped to the five path and came up empty. FOR SOME REASON brushed with a foe at the start, was urged along on the outside, traveled around most of the turn in the five path then dropped to the four path, shifted to the six path into the stretch and also came up empty. MACAW bumped with a rival at the start, angled in off the pace near the nine-sixteenths pole, was urged along in the two path on the turn and capitulated. JOKING WAY settled well back in the field, saved ground on the turn and was no factor. MUAZARAH was hustled to the front then showed the way with a clear advantage, vied inside of foe while moving from the two path to the inside on the turn, was headed outside the quarter-pole and tired.
