ALIMARA (FR) was taken back along the hedge nearing the first turn, saved ground while unhurried while last but one, moved off the hedge on the backstretch, rounded most of the final turn in the two path then shifted to the three path, angled to the five path while roused outside the quarter-pole, swung out to the six path into the stretch, rallied outside to get the lead inside the furlong marker then moved clear under steady urging. NATIONAL ARCHIVE was well placed just off the pace on the inside, drafted behind the leader on the final turn, was asked in the two path into upper stretch, chased under a drive into the final furlong and finished willingly to just get the place. FLEETINGLY bumped with a rival at the start and was last to commence, lagged at the rear while saving ground, moved to the three path late on the final turn, swung out to the seven path into the stretch, gained under a drive into the final furlong, was guided in near the sixteenth-pole and improved willingly to just miss the place while able to get the show. SPEED SHOPPER settled on the outside in the four then three path without the benefit of cover, stalked the leader on the final turn, was asked near the quarter-pole, took a short lead in upper stretch, led under a drive into the final furlong, was collared by the winner outside the sixteenth-pole and weakened. SACAYA (FR) was hustled from the gate then taken under tight restraint, tugged on the bit while rated on the inside, came under some intermittent urging on the final turn, moved out behind traffic in upper stretch, chased into the final furlong and lacked the needed kick. SNOWY EVENING was away awkwardly but with the field, raced under reserve in the two to three path, was roused in the three then four path on the final turn and lacked the needed response. BOBBY JEAN was fractious in the gate then hustled from the start, came under restraint early then was reserved in the two path, moved to the three path late on the final turn, was asked for her best in upper stretch and came up empty. BETULA (GB) was fractious in the gate, went to the front, tossed her head into the first turn, showed the way in hand while inside to the two path, was asked inside the five-sixteenths pole, lost the advantage in upper stretch and faded. LINA (FR) was hustled to establish forward position early, tossed her head while rank in the three path on the first turn, stalked outside in the two path from that point, was asked on the final turn and faltered then was eased in the final furlong but walked off.
