VAJRA got bumped at the start by SAINT TROPEZ, who broke inwards, showed the way in hand along the inside hounded by COLLECTIVE BARGAIN to the outside through swift splits, took the inside route into upper stretch and was roused straightened away, edged clear under a drive to prevail. MY DIVINE SPIRIT (GB) broke out at the start and was corrected, chased three wide coming under a ride near the quarter pole, tipped three to four wide into upper stretch and ran on to secure the place honors. SAINT TROPEZ broke in at the start bumping VAJRA, chased along the inside and took the inside route into upper stretch before being let out straightened away into upper stretch, kept on to secure the show honors. FLETCH'S ROCKETTE saved ground near the rear of the field coming under encouragement with five-sixteenths remaining, angled five to six wide into upper stretch and improved position to the finish. EMPRESS NEW GROOVE chased just off the inside under urging nearing the quarter pole, spun two to three wide into upper stretch and made no headway. CHESTNUT chased two to three wide under encouragement from the five-sixteenths marker, angled five wide into upper stretch and weakened in the late stages. FOSTER LANE hesitated at the break getting away last and conceded four to five lengths to the front before settling into stride, chased two to three paths off the inside down the backstretch and then just off the inside through the turn ridden along with five-sixteenths remaining, tipped three to four wide into upper stretch, offered no kick. COLLECTIVE BARGAIN pressed the pace of VAJRA from the outside coming under encouragement at the five-sixteenths pole, spun just off the inside into upper stretch, tired through the final furlong.
