ZARAK THE BRAVE (FR) raced in the three path on the first turn, stalked the pace on the outside while jumping well, took the lead at fence eight, was ridden along while dropping to the inside on the final turn, lost the advantage to the winner approaching the furlong marker, fought on well with that foe to the finish but missed while clear for the place.
