BOSUN tracked the pace on the outside of the leader without cover, dropped from the four path to the three path early on the turn, was asked on that bend, came under a right-handed crop while in pursuit of the leader in upper stretch, made a bid inside the furlong marker and got up in the final few strides to prevail. I'M WIDE AWAKE went to the front, showed the way while off the inside, lugged out some leaving the backstretch, dropped from the three path to the two path early on the turn then was guided around that bend, responded well when asked near the quarter-pole, came under a right-handed crop at the furlong marker, led into the final sixteenth but was caught while just able to get the place. VACATION DANCE bumped soundly with a rival at the start, brushed with a foe near the five-eighths pole, was forwardly placed on the outside, came under urging in the four path on the turn, chased the top two while outside in the stretch and gained willingly late but just missed while able to get the show. YARROW dropped back early then was urged along on the outside, moved in outside the half-mile pole, was roused in the two path on the turn, turned into the stretch under the crop, pursued the top three in the drive, gained some late and earned the last spot in the superfecta. RUSSI dropped off the pace, moved in outside the half-mile pole, saved ground while roused on the turn, moved to the two path outside the quarter-pole, turned into upper stretch under a drive and also gained late but failed to impact. SEAVER broke a step slow, was urged along at the rear, went around most of the turn in the two path then shifted to the three path, turned into the stretch in the four path while under the crop and failed to threaten. CLANCY FANCY bumped soundly with a rival at the start, brushed with a foe near the five-eighths pole then altered to the inside, dropped back leaving the backstretch, saved ground while roused on the turn and failed to respond.
