Footnotes
PROVE broke in at the start bumping GOT STRIPES in concert with NOGUCHI, showed the way in hand along the inside patiently handled until set down spinning three then two wide into upper stretch, dug in under threat from his stable mate and held gamely to prevail. BATTLE DRUM (FR) coaxed from the gate, tracked the pace along the inside, sidled to the two path at the five-sixteenths, angled five wide into upper stretch let out for the drive, dug in under the flashing of a left handed crop and ran on to chase the winner home clear of the rest for the place honors. RETEKO got pinched out between foes after the start and settled just off the inside through the first turn, tipped out four paths off the rail down the backstretch before heading three wide through the far turn coming under coaxing at the five-sixteenths, went seven wide into upper stretch, offered up a mild bid. NOGUCHI broke out at the start bumping GOT STRIPES in tandem with PROVE, raced just off the inside through the first turn, chased three then two wide down the backstretch and then three to four wide through the far turn, tipped five wide for home and kept on to the finish. COMPLEX AGENDA coaxed from the gate, two to three wide in aim, came under urging at the five-sixteenths, angled four wide into upper stretch, weakened in the late stages. CAPTCHA raced just off the inside through the first turn, chased three to four wide down the backstretch and then three wide through the far turn, angled six wide into upper stretch and offered no kick. THE HERO CODE got checked three to four wide into the first turn when off heels of rivals as they closed an already slim lane between them, angled in to the two path briefly before making his way inside, tracked the pace along the inside coming under urging three furlongs out, angled eight wide into upper stretch and offered no rally. EXTRASENSORY saved ground at the tail of the field, came under coaxing half a mile from home, cornered just off the inside into upper stretch and made no impact. GOT STRIPES got away to an awkward beginning and was bumped between foes at the start who each broke his way, raced three wide into the first turn and then angled in to tracked along the inside from mid pack, came under coaxing at the five-sixteenths, spun just off the inside into upper stretch and weakened. DARK DEVIL four wide into the first turn, chased three then two wide under urging from the three-eighths marker, went seven wide for home and tired.
