TIME TO DREAM got bumped at the start by BAYOU BRIGID, who broke inwards, settled just off the inside near the rear of the field behind the cover of SCRATCH IT, tipped three wide at the five-sixteenths into the clear and came under light coaxing soon after, angled five wide into upper stretch let out for the drive, rallied with a good kick to overhauled the front just outside the eighth pole, then drew clear under a drive and was geared down in the late stages to the wire. SCRATCH IT coaxed from the gate, settled tracking just off the inside in mid pack behind the cover of TIZ IN SIGHT, remained on hold until set down angled four wide at the top of the stretch, came inwards at the three-sixteenths, then proved no match for the top one while running on to secure the place honors. DEVILISH GRIN tracked the pace along the inside from mid pack behind the cover of SUSHI, came under coaxing nearing the quarter pole and angled out swinging three to four wide into upper stretch, tipped out an additional path near the three-sixteenths and improved position to procure the show honors. VERNON VALLEY pulled keenly early on and to the front, settled showing the way in hand along the inside, remained patiently handled spinning just off the inside at the quarter pole and was roused straightened away, dug in under a drive and was overhauled nearing the eighth pole, then weakened through to the finish. TIZ IN SIGHT settled tracking the leader in closest aim from the two path patiently handled until placed to urging near the quarter pole, swung three wide into upper stretch, tired. BAYOU BRIGID broke in at the start bumping TIME TO DREAM, raced three then two wide through the first turn, chased three paths off the inside in the clear down the backstretch, went three to four wide through the far turn coming under a ride at the five-sixteenths, tipped five wide for home and tired in the stretch. SUSHI coaxed from the gate, tracked the pace along the inside behind the cover of the leader, came under encouragement at the five-sixteenths, spun just off the inside into upper stretch and tired.
