Footnotes
COVERED OPTION was hustled from the gate, chased the pace down the backstretch, went around the turn in the three then four path, gained to make a bid late on that bend, came in while taking the lead into upper stretch then was straightened by the rider, shook clear while remaining on his inside lead under one pop of a right-handed crop, swapped to the proper lead nearing the furlong marker and widened under strong urging to prove much the best. PIRATE SHIP veered out at the start then bumped soundly with rivals, was urged along towards the rear, rounded the turn in the three path, came into the stretch in the six path and improved for the place. ITS SATURDAY NIGHT moved up under urging after breaking towards the rear, chased while going from the inside to the three path on the turn, was driven into the stretch in the five path and weakened while clear for the show. CYBERTAPPING broke near the back of the field, was urged along towards the rear, moved from the inside to the two path late on the turn and improved without threatening. TUTTO A POSTO tossed his head at the start then was bumped and forced out, spotted the front a few lengths while slowest into stride, went around the turn in the four path, came into the stretch in the seven path then moved further out and was no factor. BLACKJACK showed speed then pressed the pace on the outside, vied in the three path on the turn, dropped back between horses at the three-sixteenths pole and tired. SILVERUS moved up under urging to get the lead then set the pace under pressure to his outside, vied in the two path while asked on the turn, lost the advantage into upper stretch and gave way. BIG BOLD RED was bumped soundly in the hindquarters just after the start, moved in early then was urged along, shifted back out near the nine-sixteenths pole, went around the turn in the four path, turned into the stretch in the six path, remained on his inside lead in the drive and came up empty. NODIN broke out and brushed the gate, was urged along off the pace, moved in near the nine-sixteenths pole, traveled around most of the turn in the two path then dropped to the inside and failed to respond. OGUGUA broke out and brushed the gate, was urged along on the outside, went around the turn in the three path, was driven into the stretch in the four path and faltered.
