WOOD ISLAND showed the way in hand from the two path patiently handled through to spinning just off the inside at the quarter pole, got roused straightening away to the inside, held well and clear to the finish to prevail. TITAN READY brushed the off side stall at the start and then brushed LEGACY LADY, chased along the inside patiently handled until set down spinning just off the inside into upper stretch, ran on to secure the place honors. RIVER OF DECEIT chased three then four wide coming under a ride near the quarter pole, tipped four to five wide into upper stretch, kept on to the finish and was just up for the show honors in the last jumps. LEGACY LADY got brushed at the start by TITAN READY, chased three wide under urging from the five-sixteenths marker, continued three wide into upper stretch, kept on to the finish and was just bested in the final strides for the show honors. JOHNNY HOCKEY broke in at the start bumping AMERICAN POPE, chased just off the inside coming under urging near the quarter pole, angled six wide into upper stretch and weakened. SO ANGELINA coaxed from the gate, chased along the inside, the rider losing a handle on the left side rein briefly just outside the three-eighths pole, got let out spinning three wide into upper stretch and weakened in the drive. AMERICAN POPE got bumped at the start by JOHNNY HOCKEY, chased along the inside down the backstretch and then two to three wide through the turn under urging near the quarter pole, went three wide at the head of the lane, came up empty. BETTABE TOUGH chased three to four wide coming under a ride near the quarter pole, tipped four to five wide into upper stretch, tired.
