Footnotes
CADENZA showed speed then dropped just off the pace, bumped lightly with a rival outside the half-mile pole, went around the turn in the two path, was asked outside the quarter-pole, turned into upper stretch in the four path, chased under a right-handed crop into the final furlong, switched to a left-handed crop outside the sixteenth-pole, gained into the final sixteenth and got up late under strong handling to prevail. VAJRA stalked the pace on the outside, engaged the leader in the three path early on the turn, dropped to the two path late on that bend, battled outside the pacesetter while put to a drive in upper stretch, dueled into the final furlong, fought on well into the final sixteenth but was outfinished by the winner late while just up for the place. BELAROSA showed speed then set the pace, vied inside on the turn, was asked at the quarter-pole, dueled inside of the runner-up under a drive into the final furlong, led determinedly into the final sixteenth but was out-kicked then missed the place while able to get the show. SIOUXSE was urged along off the pace, went around the turn in the two path, was driven into the stretch in the three path, moved out outside the furlong marker and finished willingly for the last spot in the superfecta. ONE MORE GUITAR bumped with a foe at the start, chased the early pace, was taken in hand before the half-mile pole, dropped back and lost position into the turn, saved ground while roused on that bend, turned into the stretch in the two path while under the crop, chased the leaders in the drive and lacked the needed kick. BASHFUL BABY broke a step slow then ducked out greenly and was taken up, spotted the front many lengths, settled at the rear while continuing to race a bit greenly, gained while moving from the four path to the six path under a bit of extra left-rein pressure on the turn, turned into upper stretch in the seven path and flattened out. MARKET HOURS was hustled from the gate then urged along on the outside, tucked in behind cover near the half-mile pole, rounded the turn in the three path, spun into the stretch in the four path, angled out near the three-sixteenths pole and lacked the needed response. BIG IMAGINATION (JPN) bumped with a rival at the start, dropped back early then was urged along towards the rear, saved ground on the turn, turned into the stretch under the crop and failed to threaten. SUN KISS was hustled from the gate, bumped lightly with the winner outside the half-mile pole then dropped back, went around most of the turn in the three path then tipped to the four path, spun into upper stretch in the five path and came up empty. MOUSSELINE dropped back early then was urged along near the rear, traveled around most of the turn in the two path then shifted to the three path, moved out in upper stretch and was no factor.
