BOXED WINE was hustled from the gate, saved ground while well placed just off the pace, drafted behind the leader on the far turn, shifted to the two path while asked at the quarter-pole, gained to make a bid at the three-sixteenths pole, took the lead under a strong hand-ride coming to the furlong marker, was given one pop of a right-handed crop outside the sixteenth-pole then proved best under a confident hand-ride to the finish. HIGHER FORCE was hustled to the front, rounded the first turn in the two path, showed the way while inside on the backstretch, was asked along the rail on the far turn, turned into upper stretch under a drive, lost the advantage to the winner approaching the furlong marker, fought with that foe into the final sixteenth and was outfinished while well clear for the place. PURPOSE bumped with a rival at the start, traveled around the opening bend in the two path, settled off the pace, was urged along passing the nine-sixteenths pole, went around most of the turn in the two path, shifted to the three path briefly later on that bend then dropped back to the two path and lacked the needed response while able to get the show. MARGAUX TREASURE broke out and hit the gate, saved ground on the first turn, settled at the rear, was urged along late on the backstretch, raced inside for most of the far turn then shifted to the three path, came out to the six path into upper stretch, remained on her inside lead in the drive and failed to threaten. SECOND CHANCE moved in while establishing a forward position early, raced in the three path on the first turn, prompted the pace on the outside, was given her cue in the two path on the far turn, spun into the stretch in the three path then dropped back, drifted out near the furlong marker, drifted back in late and tired. CARA'S DREAMWEAVER moved from the two path to the three path early on the first turn, settled under some urging, chased in the three path on the far turn, was driven into the stretch in the four path and came up empty. CHA CHA WREN went around the first turn in the four path, settled on the outside, was ridden along passing the nine-sixteenths pole, moved from the four path to the three path while dropping back fast late on the far turn, spun into the stretch in the five path and faltered then was eased in the final furlong but walked off.
