Footnotes
DONEGAL MOMENTUM bobbled twice at the break in the first two strides from the gate, established the front soon after the start and showed the way in hand along the inside through the first turn and then just off the inside down the backstretch, tucked briefly inside into the far turn before sidling to the two path with five-sixteenths to go, had NORTHERN INVADER advance inside and was headed for command at the quarter pole, swung four wide into upper stretch set down for the drive, rallied to take back the front just outside the eighth pole, dug in tussling with NORTHERN INVADER confronted by the runner up, shook off that inside rival steadily in the very late stages while gamely holding on by a neck to rebuff the outside rival to the finish. PROGRAM TRADING (GB) saved ground at the tail of the field patiently handled until placed to urging nearing the quarter pole, angled five wide into upper stretch, closed well outside but was ultimately repelled to the finish. NORTHERN INVADER tracked along the inside under a rating hold, tipped to the two path down the backstretch behind the cover of the leader, tucked back to the rail into the far turn, gained clearance when DONEGAL MOMENTUM went to the two path five-sixteenths from home and came under coaxing bidding for command near the quarter pole, seized narrow command swinging just off the inside into upper stretch, dug in under threat and was collared just inside the three-sixteenths, dug in under a drive fighting on inside to the wire. GENERAL JIM just off the inside through the first turn, tracked three then two wide from near the rear of the field, came under encouragement with five-sixteenths remaining, angled four wide into upper stretch, stayed on one paced to the end. TABEGUACHE three then two wide through the first turn, chased four then three wide under urging from the five-sixteenths, tipped four to five wide into upper stretch and tired.
