Footnotes
FLORIDA FLOWER showed speed then raced just off the pace, switched to the outside of the leader with five furlongs to run, chased in the three path on the turn, turned into upper stretch under a right-handed crop, gained to make a bid just inside the three-sixteenths pole, fought outside of the runner-up to the sixteenth-pole and got up under strong handling to prevail. CATCHPHRASE brushed with a rival at the start then was hustled, moved in while going to the front then showed the way, went around the turn in the two path, was asked outside the quarter-pole, came under a left-handed crop in upper stretch, led to the sixteenth-pole then was headed by the winner, fought on with that foe to the finish and just missed while clear for the place. BEST IMPRESSION settled off the pace, was roused while moving from the two path to the four path on the turn, was driven into the stretch in the five path and lacked the needed kick while just up for the show. FOXY CARA broke out and bumped with a foe, settled towards the rear, was urged along late on the backstretch, traveled around the turn in the three path, turned into upper stretch under the crop and also lacked the needed kick then just missed the show. LA GROTTE brushed with a rival at the start, chased the pace on the outside then in the four path on the turn and tired. HARLAN'S BOND bumped with a foe at the start, settled under some urging, moved from the rail to the two path while asked for more on the turn, spun into the stretch in the three path and failed to rally. DANNEEL bobbled ever so slightly at the start, settled off the pace, moved closer near the nine-sixteenths pole, dropped back into the turn, saved ground on that bend and lacked the needed response. SANTAGATA tossed her head just after the start, was urged along on the outside at the rear, dropped well behind late on the backstretch, went around the turn in the five path and tralied.
