MIDTOWN LIGHTS coaxed from the gate, crossed to the two path in the first turn placing a pair of rivals in tight briefly along the rail, showed the way in hand along the inside patiently handled until placed to coaxing nearing the quarter pole when under threat from a pair of foes, spun just off the inside into upper stretch, edged away under a drive to the eighth pole, dug in stubbornly to the finish to prevail safe on the wire. TOUGH STREET broke in at the start, raced along the inside early on and was steadied briefly when in tight along the rail, tipped to chase just off the inside just off the pace, came under encouragement at the five-sixteenths, swung four wide into upper stretch, tipped out two paths straightened away, dug in under a drive and surged late to secure the place honors. SCYTHIAN stumbled at the start, chased along the inside briefly until tipped three wide into the backstretch, advanced three wide through the far turn under coaxing from the five-sixteenths, swung four to five wide into upper stretch, dug in under a drive and fought between rivals late while clear of the rest for the show honors. KHALI MAGIC forwardly placed just off the inside in closest aim of the leader, got ridden along at the five-sixteenths, spun three wide into upper stretch and weakened in the late stages. EMBRACEABLE GAL broke in at the start trading a bump with MITOLE'S GIRL, who broke outwards, chased five then four wide under a ride from the three-eighths pole, went seven wide into upper stretch and weakened. BOBBY M'S GIRL grew detached at the tail of the field chasing three then two wide, went four wide through the far turn under coaxing from the seven-sixteenths, went seven wide for home and made no impact. SWEETEST PRINCESS bobbled at the break, chased three then two wide coming under urging from the five-sixteenths, spun three wide for home, tired. MITOLE'S GIRL broke out at the start and traded a bump with EMBRACEABLE GAL, chased four then three wide under urging from three furlongs out, angled four to five wide into upper stretch and tired.
