MOMENTUM FILES bobbled at the break and came under coaxing to the front, showed the way in hand along the inside under pressure from GYPSY DREAMING to the outside, shook off that rival nearing the quarter pole and spun three wide into upper stretch, dug in under threat to the outside from TIGER TWENTY FOUR, got brushed by that rival a sixteenth out and held well to the finish to rebuff the challenge to the wire. TIGER TWENTY FOUR coaxed from the gate, chased four then three wide and was given a nudge inside the five-sixteenths marker and advanced outside rivals to swing five to six wide into upper stretch, came under a left handed crop and rallied to loom boldly a furlong out heads apart for command, had the rider switch to the right hand with the crop and shied in slightly and then came in brushing MOMENTUM FILES a sixteenth from home and was ultimately repelled to the finish. CELESTIAL GLAZE chased just off the inside and then along the inside coming under coaxing near the quarter pole, tipped three to four wide into upper stretch and weakened in the late stages. TRIPP'S PROMISE hit the off side stall at the start getting away last, chased two to three paths off the inside down the backstretch, got out into the turn despite being flashed a right handed crop and went five wide three furlongs from home, angled nine wide into upper stretch and made no headway. GYPSY DREAMING bobbled at the break and came under coaxing, prompted the leader from the outside three then two wide under a ride with five-sixteenths to go, got shaken off and went seven to eight wide into upper stretch and tired.
