RENEW THE BLUE got bumped at the start by LET'S GET WEIRD due to pressure from ARMY PROUD, was devoid of speed early on growing detached at the tail of the field while in pursuit just off the inside, came under urging at the seven-sixteenths and continued one path off the rail until tipped out inside the five-sixteenths to culminate in swinging eight wide at the top of the stretch, rallied on the outside closing well through the final furlong to roll by the leader forty yards from the finish, then prevailed edging away at the end. LET'S GET WEIRD got bumped at the start by ARMY PROUD and in turn bumped the aforementioned foe, chased four then three wide in closest aim of the leader coming under a ride at the five-sixteenths, continued three wide into upper stretch, dug in under a drive running on to secure the place honors in the final jumps to the finish. ARMY PROUD broke out at the start bumping LET'S GET WEIRD into RENEW THE BLUE, chased along the inside under a ride from the seven-sixteenths, angled out six wide into upper stretch and offered up late foot to garner the show honors in the final strides to the wire. VIBRANT EXPRESS showed the way in hand three then two wide coming under coaxing near the quarter pole, took the inside route into upper stretch, edged away under a drive to the eighth pole, dug in under growing threat to the outside, got overhauled by the top one forty yards from the finish, then got overwhelmed late and ended up off the board in a blanket finish and was reported to have bled. LODATO coaxed from the gate, chased just off the inside under a ride from the five-sixteenths, angled four wide for home and tired. COLLEGE HUNK chased four to five wide under urging from three furlongs out, angled out six to seven wide into upper stretch and tired. EIGHTY GOLD coaxed from the start, chased along the inside coming under encouragement at the five-sixteenths, cut the corner into upper stretch, faltered in the drive.
