Footnotes
CAPITAL IDEA coaxed from the gate, chased three to four wide under urging from the seven-sixteenths, spun three wide for home, dug in under a drive surging late to get up in the final jumps to the finish. ECHO AGAIN along the inside through the first turn, chased just off the inside down the backstretch before heading four wide through the far turn, came under coaxing near the quarter pole, continued four wide into upper stretch, rallied to take command a furlong out and was tepidly handled until under threat to the outside, then got nailed in the final strides to the wire. DILGER (IRE) three wide in closest aim of the leader, came under coaxing near the quarter pole and seized command at that station continuing three wide into upper stretch, dug in under threat and was collared just outside the eighth pole, kept on to preserve the show honors. LE GRIS coaxed from the gate, chased four to five wide on hold until set down spinning six wide into upper stretch, stayed on one paced to the finish. SOCIETY MAN chased just off the inside and then along the inside under a ride from the seven-sixteenths, offered up a bid taking the inside route into upper stretch, then weakened in the drive. CRUSHED IT stumbled badly at the start, recovered and was rushed four then three wide through the first turn to seize command near the six and a half furlong marker, showed the way just off the inside down the backstretch and through the far turn coming under coaxing at the five-sixteenths, yielded the front spinning just off the inside into upper stretch, weakened. TOP GUN ROCKET coaxed from the start, chased four to five wide under a ride from the seven-sixteenths, angled in to spin three wide at the head of the stretch, and tired.
