COCKTAILSNKRINGLE broke out at the start bumping KAVANAUGH into NO MERLOT, chased just off the inside early on before briefly tipping three wide, then went four wide just outside the half mile pole, advanced outside the top pair tucking three wide through the far turn, took over command just inside the five-sixteenths, angled six wide into upper stretch, edged away under a drive to the eighth pole, dug in under late threat and held safe to the finish rebuffing the challenge to the wire. KAVANAUGH got bumped at the start by the aforementioned foe and in turn bumped NO MERLOT, chased three wide coming under coaxing three furlongs out, swung four wide into upper stretch, closed in through the final eighth but was ultimately repelled to the finish while well clear of the rest and along second best. NO MERLOT got bumped at the start by the aforementioned foe due to pressure from COCKTAILSNKRINGLE, went three wide through the first turn and then chased five paths off the inside down the backstretch, tucked briefly three wide at the half mile pole before tipping out five then six wide moving around REACTION three furlongs from home, went eight wide into upper stretch and improved position to procure the show honors. MY MAN MAGOO four then three wide through the first turn, chased three to four wide under a ride from the half mile pole, angled six wide into upper stretch and stayed on one paced to the finish. OTTO NIPOTI coaxed from the gate, raced four then three wide through the first turn before briefly tucking to the two path into the backstretch, dueled three wide down the backstretch with CAREER RISK to his inside, tucked to the two path at the seven-sixteenths, came under coaxing with five-sixteenths remaining and was displaced from the front by the eventual winner, spun three wide into upper stretch and tired. TOMORROW'S WISH stumbled at the start, went three wide through the first turn and then five paths off the inside down the backstretch, tucked to the inside near the half mile pole briefly before tipping back out four wide with seven-sixteenths to run, retreated through the turn and went four to five wide into upper stretch, then tired in the drive. CAREER RISK coaxed from the gate, dueled inside of OTTO NIPOTI, down the backstretch, came under urging near the five-sixteenths, got shaken off and took the inside route into upper stretch and tired. CYBERBEAST shied out at the break filling the space left vacant by COCKTAILSNKRINGLE, chased just off the inside under a ride from three furlongs out, spun just off the inside into upper stretch and weakened. REACTION four then three wide through the first turn, chased six paths off the inside down the backstretch, went five wide through the far turn briefly pushed along at the seven-sixteenths, got eased up on and went six to seven wide into upper stretch, jogged home to the finish, then got pulled up just prior to the wire and was walked off under his own power.
