SUMMER STARLET two to three wide in pursuit just off the top pair, came under coaxing near the quarter pole and tipped four wide into upper stretch, rallied to take command with three-sixteenths to go, drew clear under a drive to prevail. HARPER'S CORNER got bumped in the hind end by GIRVY GIRL breaking outwards, showed the way in hand under pressure from ANGEL OF KIRK to the outside, had that rival advance in the turn and dueled with that foe patiently handled until set down spinning just off the inside at the quarter pole, straightened away to the rail and was collared with three-sixteenths remaining, proved no match for the top one while running on well clear of the rest and along second best. ANGEL OF KIRK prompted the pace of HARPER'S CORNER from the outside four then three wide down the backstretch before tucking to the two path through the turn advancing to engage that rival in head to head combat through the turn under coaxing with five-sixteenths to run, spun three wide into upper stretch in the midst of being shaken off and weakened in the stretch while along safe for the show honors. STRESS RELIEF chased just off the inside under a ride from the seven-sixteenths pole, angled six wide into upper stretch, passed tired rivals. BANDMASTER chased three then two wide coming under a ride with seven-sixteenths to go, angled seven wide into upper stretch, tired. GIRVY GIRL broke out half a beat slow and bumped HARPER'S CORNER in the hind end before losing her lane shortly after, chased three then two wide coming under encouragement with five-sixteenths remaining, angled four wide into upper stretch and tired. LIFE CHANGING bobbled slightly at the break, chased five then four wide under prolonged coaxing from the half mile pole, began to retreat midway on the turn and went eight wide into upper stretch under a light protective hold and was eased home through to the finish.
