Footnotes
WYNSTOCK saved ground on the first turn, was well placed just off the pace, drafted in the two path on the far turn, shifted to the five path while roused at the quarter-pole, rallied outside to make a bid at the furlong marker, drifted in near the sixteenth-pole then bumped with DOC SULLIVAN shortly thereafter, battled with that foe to the finish and narrowly prevailed on the line. DOC SULLIVAN tossed his head some at the start and was last away, raced in the two path while in hand on the first turn, was reserved off the pace, moved closer outside the five-eighths, drafted inside on the far turn, was asked in the two path at the quarter-pole then dropped back to the inside in upper stretch, gained to make a bid inside of two foes into the final furlong, came out inside the sixteenth-pole then bumped with WYNSTOCK, fought nose to nose with that opponent to the finish and was denied while clear for the place. URBAN PLANNER prompted the pace on the inside, took the lead on the far turn, spun off the rail into the stretch, led under a drive into the final furlong then was headed, battled into the final sixteenth and weakened but was clear for the show. REASONED ANALYSIS rounded the first turn in the four path, settled off the pace, was asked in the three path on the final turn, moved to the five path late on that bend, turned into the stretch in the six path and lacked the needed response. DONEGAL SURGES was hustled from the gate, dropped from the six path to the five path on the first turn, stalked the pace on the outside, was asked leaving the backstretch, gained to make a bid in the four path on the turn, battled under a drive into the final furlong and tired. OTELLO brushed the inside of the gate at the start, dropped from five path to the three path while going to the front on the first turn, showed the way off the inside, was headed while in the three path on the far turn, dropped back nearing the quarter-pole and faded. KINETIC was hustled from the gate, dropped back in crowded quarters while in the five path on the first turn, settled off the pace, was urged along passing the nine-sixteenths pole, traveled around the far turn in the four then five path, spun into the stretch in the six path and failed to respond. TUSCAN SKY was hustled from the gate, raced in the three path on the first turn, was urged along on the backstretch, dropped well behind while going from the two path to the five path on the far turn, came into the stretch in the seven path and faltered then was eased but walked off.
