PELICAN PRIDE was taken under a tight hold early then rated just off the pace on the inside, drafted behind horses on the far turn, shifted to the three path while asked at the quarter-pole, rallied to the lead in upper stretch, shook clear inside the furlong marker and held under strong urging. SKY LOW LOW moved in towards the rear, shifted from the two path to the four path early on the first turn, settled near the rear, was roused in the four path on the far turn, came into the stretch in the six path, rallied outside into the final furlong, drifted in while closing well late and missed while clear for the place. WHATTA WEEKEND showed early speed, dropped from the two path to the inside while keen inside of DANCING MIRACLE on the first turn, was taken back off the pace then switched to the outside and tracked, made a bid outside of the leader in the two path on the far turn, took the advantage at the top of the stretch, lost the lead to the winner inside the three-sixteenths pole and weakened but just held the show. MAGIC IN MY EYES moved in early, rounded the first turn in the two path, settled towards the back, shifted from the inside to the four path on the far turn, was roused late on that bend, came into the stretch in the six path then moved further out while between horses, brushed with THE GAEL at that juncture and improved for the last spot in the superfecta. CHAUMET hit the outside of the gate then was hustled, tracked the pace in the two to three path, was given her cue on the far turn, came out to the four path into upper stretch, steadied slightly off heels around the three-sixteenths pole and tired. THE GAEL went around the first turn in the four path, settled off the pace, angled out from the two path to the five path on the far turn, turned into the stretch in the seven path, brushed with a rival while moving a bit further out around the three-sixteenths pole and lacked the needed response. ADDAGIRL ADDIE tossed her head at the start while last away but broke with the body of the field, saved ground on the first turn, was reserved near the back, traveled around the far turn in the two path and failed to threaten. VALIANT DIVA was hustled from the gate, raced in the three path on the first turn, settled in the middle of the field, was roused in the three path on the far turn, came into the stretch in the five path and failed to rally. TWO CLICKS dropped back while moving in early, went around the first turn in the three path, tugged her way forward on the outside midway down the backstretch, was asked in the four path on the far turn, spun into the stretch in the five path, dropped back into the final furlong and came up empty. DANCING MIRACLE broke out but was quickly corrected by the rider, moved in while going to the front, showed the way down the backstretch, vied inside on the far turn, lost the advantage at the top of the stretch and gave way. MIA SOPHIA saved ground while reserved off the pace and faltered then was eased but walked off. AMICUS CURIAE was hustled from the gate, went around the first turn in the four path, settled on the far outside without cover, dropped back late on the backstretch, rounded the far turn in the five then six path, came out into the stretch and was also eased but walked off.
