VEKINDA was hustled from the gate, chased the pace on the outside, made a bid in the two path on the turn, took the lead in the three path into upper stretch, shook clear under a drive near the furlong marker and held under strong urging. KING FARRO broke a half-step slow, moved up while settling under some urging, shifted out late on the backstretch, chased in the three path on the turn, was driven into the stretch in the four path and finished willingly for the place. CALLING CARD was hustled from the gate then ridden along off the pace, moved in outside the half-mile pole, shifted from the inside the three path on the turn, turned into upper stretch under a drive and improved for the show. BLAMICKER brushed with MOZAMBIQUE at the start, showed speed then set the pace, was asked along the rail on the turn, lost the advantage to the winner into upper stretch and gave way. ALZERO was urged along on the outside, chased in the four path on the turn, spun into the stretch in the five path and lacked the needed kick then just missed the superfecta. B PROVOCATEUR showed speed then chased the pace, saved ground on the turn, dropped back late on that bend and lacked the needed response. MOZAMBIQUE brushed with BLAMICKER at the start, was urged along at the rear, moved from the three path to the five path on the turn, came into the stretch in the six path and was no factor. LORD CHATHAM was urged along off the pace, moved out outside the half-mile pole, dropped back leaving the backstretch, moved from the four path to the two path on the turn and failed to respond.
