Footnotes
URGENCY showed speed on the inside of HAMMERHEAD, took the lead into the first turn, was well rated while setting the pace on the inside in hand, responded well when asked in the two path at the quarter-pole, came under a right-handed crop outside the furlong marker and held under strong urging. HARD CIRCLE angled in while establishing a forward position early, raced in the two path on the first turn, was well placed just off the pace, saved ground while drafting behind the leader on the far turn, was asked approaching the quarter-pole, moved out while asked for his best in upper stretch, chased the winner while remaining on his inside lead until outside the sixteenth-pole then swapped to the proper lead and willingly earned the place. ENGLISH LAW was placed under restraint early then taken back, saved ground on the first turn, was rated just off the pace, went around the far turn in the two then three path, came into the stretch in the four path, pursued the winner in the drive and also finished willingly then earned the show. RABAJA was taken up between horses with just under a mile to run, saved ground on the first turn, was reserved off the pace, traveled around the far turn in the two path, was roused at the quarter-pole and improved for the last spot in the superfecta. DEBT LIMIT (FR) saved ground under reserve, shifted off the inside nearing the quarter-pole, came into upper stretch in the four path then moved further out and also improved position. VINTAGE VINO dropped back early then moved in, raced in the two path on the first turn, settled well off the pace, was urged along late on the backstretch, shifted from the two path to the four path late on the far turn, swung out to the seven path into the stretch and failed to threaten. OUTSOURCE settled towards the rear while in racing in the three path on the turns, was roused on the second bend, came into upper stretch in the five path and failed to rally. HAMMERHEAD made light contact with HIGH BETA at the start, showed speed and led early, lost the advantage into the first turn, raced in the three path on that bend, stalked the pace on the outside, made a bid near the seven-sixteenths pole, vied in the two path while asked on the far turn, spun into the stretch in the three path and tired. HIGH BETA bumped lightly with HAMMERHEAD at the start, was taken under a strong hold early then reserved in the three path with cover, came out from behind cover near the half-mile pole, raced under urging on the far turn, moved to the four path late on that bend, drifted inward in upper stretch and was no factor. HOT PROPERTY dropped back early then angled in at the rear, saved ground at the back under urging, came out into the stretch and showed little. SIESTA KEY went around the turns in the two to three path and failed to respond.
