RAINBOW'S PRIDE vied for the lead in the three path, lost ground while coming under a ride in the two path passing the three-eighths pole, kicked on to bid again inside of the leader from the four path entering the lane, took over passing the eighth pole, and drew clear. MORNING CUP dueled for the lead in the four path, took command while merging to the two path passing the three-eighths pole, was cued passing the quarter, kept on down the stretch while drifting outwards, lost the lead entering the final furlong, but held place. CINCO DE MO rated in the four path, was ridden in the three path around the turn, swung from the five path into the lane, and finished evenly for show. VINSANITY trailed in the four path, was coaxed along around the turn, fanned out to the seven path at the top of the lane, and stayed on. JUST RELAX chased in the two path, lost ground while under a ride in the three path around the turn, floated out to the six path at the top of the lane, but made no impact. SAMURAI PRINCE pressed the early pace in the two path but yielded around the turn. PROTEGE prompted the pace inside but retreated around the turn.
