GRIDLOCK stalked in the three path, ranged up to bid between foes passing the quarter, took a narrow lead while swinging from the five path into the lane, drifted out down the lane, bumped a challenging outer foe passing the furlong grounds, and just held on. WILDWOOD BYE chased outside of rivals, bid under a ride in the four path passing the quarter, swung from the six path into the stretch, ran on to sustain that bid to the wire, but got herded out by an inner foe thru the stretch and bumped passing the eighth pole, then just missed. DIVINE ROMANCE raced off the pace in the four path, was ridden in the three path around the turn, and kept on from the five path down the lane for show. THELASTBULLETSMINE led between foes from the two path early, dropped back around the turn, swung from the four path into the stretch, and stayed on. MILA JUNES vied for the lead in the three path, held a narrow advantage passing the quarter, fought on from the two path down the lane, but faded in the final sixteenth. MY CAJUN LADY trailed in the two path early and made no impact. KIP THE DISTANCE prompted the pace inside, was driven around the turn, but yielded in the final furlong. THERE WERE TWO OBJECTIONS, AN OBJECTION LODGED BY THE RIDER OF DIVINE ROMANCE AGAINST THE RIDERS OF WILDWOOD BYE AND GRIDLOCK FOR INTERFERENCE AROUND THE HALF MILE POLE WAS DISALLOWED. HOWEVER AFTER AN OBJECTION LODGED BY THE RIDER OF WILDWOOD BYE AGAINST THE RIDER OF GRIDLOCK FOR INTERFERENCE IN THE STRETCH, GRIDLOCK WAS DISQUALIFIED FROM FIRST AND PLACED SECOND FOR DRIFTING OUT DOWN THE STRETCH IMPEDING WILDWOOD BYE OF A FAIR CHANCE TO WIN.
