Footnotes
HOMER JONES bumped with an inner foe at the start, laid up close in the three path, came under a ride midway around the turn, angled out to the five path at the top of the lane, kicked on to bid entering the final furlong, and drew ahead in the closing stages. SWEN stalked in the five path, moved up to take command while tipping into the three path passing the three-eighths pole, was cued midway around the turn, ran on in the four path down the stretch, but got edged out by a outer foe in the final strides. FEDERAL EXCHANGE laid in range in the three path, was roused midway around the turn, floated out to the six path in upper stretch, and kept on for show. DAVID'S SONGS bumped between foes at the start, chased in the five path, was roused from the four path midway around the turn, swung out to the seven path at the top of the stretch, and finished evenly. DON'T ANSWER bumped with an outer foe at the start, rated in the four path, was driven in the five path around the turn, fanned out to the nine path at the top of the lane, and passed tired inner rivals. KING FALIERO tracked in the three path, tipped into the two path while being driven into the turn, but made no impact. KALINBA was wellback along the inside, swung out to the five path at the top of the lane, and never threatened. HENDRICKSON set the pace inside, got overtaken by an outer foe passing the three-eighths pole, and yielded from the three path down the stretch. CALL THE CAVALRY prompted the early pace inside but retreated. AWESOME ENTRY trailed throughout.
