ARROGANCY laid up close in the four path, bid in the three path midway around the turn, led while back in the four path at the top of the lane, then dug in late to hold off an outer foe. ALARIK (CHI) prompted the pace inside, dropped back under a drive entering the turn, angled out to the five path turning into the stretch, and ran on again late to be second best. METAPHOR dueled for the lead in the three path, was ridden between foes in the two path around the turn, but faded in the final furlong. GOD WITH US vied for the lead in the two path, cut the corner turning into the stretch, but yielded in the final furlong. MENDELLO trailed thoughout.
