EPIC DESIRE was between foes early around the first turn, tracked outside of foes from the four path up the backstretch, got put to a drive in the three path early around the far turn, ranged up passing the quarter, bid from the five path at the top of the lane, kicked on to take command just after the eighth pole, and drew clear in the final sixteenth. ASSOCIATED stalked the inner pacesetter from the three path, bid from the two path midway around the far turn, ran on while back in the three path to hold a narrow lead entering the final furlong, but was quickly overtaken by the outer eventual winner before the sixteenth. REGENERATION rated in the two path, came under a drive along the inside entering the far turn, and kept on from the three path down the lane for show. NOBLE HERITAGE trailed in the two path, was driven around the far turn, and finished evenly from the four path down the stretch to pass a tired inner pair. MR. HOOLIGAN set the pace inside, was cued when challenged midway around the far turn, fought on in upper stretch, but yielded in the final furlong. INFINITE LIGHT raced off the pace in the three path, improved under a drive around the far turn, but faded in the stretch.
