THEO'S THUNDER was wellback while being nudged along in the four path up the backstretch, moved up under a drive in the three path around the far turn, tipped out to the five path at the top of the lane, rallied into the final furlong, and drew past the inner runner up in the closing stages. PAXTON stalked an inner duo from the four path up the backstretch, ranged up to bid under a ride in the two path midway around the far turn, led passing the quarter, drew clear from the four path in upper stretch, but was run down by the outer eventual in the final sixteenth. STRENGTHNGUIDANCE rated outside of foes in the five path up the backstretch, was driven four wide around the far turn, and kept on down the lane for show. PAVED IN GOLD showed the way in the two path up the backstretch, was cued when challenged midway around the far turn, lost the lead passing the quarter, and faded in the stretch. CENTERFOLD GUY trailed along the rail leaving the first turn, came under a drive midway around the far turn, but made no impact from the two path down the lane.
