ADIOS TOOTSIE soon took the lead, set the pace from off the rail in about the three to four path, drifted a bit into upper stretch, held while being kept to the task. MAY GRAY got away well, shifted in up the backstretch racing outside foes, shifted in again through the latter part of the turn, loomed a threat inside in the stretch but could make no headway late while second best. PRINCESS VEKOMA was hard to load, stalked from outside, went five to six wide on the turn looming a threat coming to the top of the stretch but lacked the needed late kick. CHIT CHAT settled into stride off the pace, advanced between foes late on the turn while moving out to enter upper stretch eight deep, kept on for the minor award. MUFFIN THIEF was a bit slow to gather after the start, raced well back but gained momentum leaving the turn and improved in the stretch. INSPIRE COURAGE chased from inside mid-division, saved ground along the rail on the turn, checked past the quarter as a rival came in, ran on. AUSPLEXITY was up close to the leader racing four to five wide into the turn, weakened. APRIL SPUN chased from outside racing mostly four to seven deep, failed to rally. MISS WHINNIE was outpaced throughout and made no bid. GETAHOLDAYOURSELF chased in behind the leaders going two wide into the turn, checked past the five-sixteenths and faded. FOLLOWING A STEWARDS' INQUIRY AS WELL AS AN OBJECTION BY THE RIDER OF INSPIRE COURAGE AGAINST MAY GRAY ALLEGING INTERFERENCE, THE LATTER WAS DISQUALIFIED FROM SECOND AND PLACED LAST BEHIND GETAHOLDAYOURSELF FOR INTERFERING WITH THAT ONE IN ADDITION TO INSPIRE COURAGE ON THE TURN.
