Footnotes
SUPER TIZ switched out in the early going racing wide up the backstretch stalking the leaders from outside, advanced willingly four to five deep on the turn floating out wider still turning for home, bid in upper- to mid-stretch taking a narrow advantage, dueled with the inside foe to the wire holding that one off to prevail. PROFITABILITY stalked from outside, bid at the top of the stretch, dueled inside the winner late but was denied. MY LUCKY ANGEL settled at the back, was forced wide on the turn racing five to seven deep, could not reach the top pair but was best of the rest. MONGOLIAN CHAMP shifted in early and moved forward between foes near the seven-sixteenths in pursuit of the leading group from the second flight, dropped back leaving the turn, came out a bit in the stretch and ran on to improve position. PRINSIPITO settled off the pace racing mostly four to five wide, was one-paced and made no bid. BATTLE WARRIOR was a bit keen moving forward inside foes to take the lead after clearing the gap, set the pace inside moving clear at the half then taking a breather soon after allowing pursuers to shadow in closer pursuit, raced off the rail into and on the turn facing pressure, fought on till mid-stretch then yielded. LOYAL CLEMENT chased from inside mid-pack, was encouraged along three furlongs out, weakened in the stretch. TROPHY COLLECTOR chased briefly under urging, soon dropped back, swung eight wide into upper stretch, was not a factor. DEVIL OF RAMADI had the early lead briefly from between foes, chased then pressed the leader, was asked to keep pace past the half, dropped back on the turn and faded.
