HE GONE set the pace inside, was coaxed midway around the turn, faced an outer challenger passing the quarter, briefly lost the lead passing the eighth pole, but dug in gamely to draw ahead around the sixteenth. BOD BEACH chased in the four path, rounded the turn while under a drive, swung from the five path into the stretch, rallied into the final furlong, but was out of time. MY BOY STAR prompted the leading inner duo from the four path, bid under a ride in the three path passing the quarter, kept on to take a narrow lead passing the eighth pole, but got repelled by the game inner pacesetter around the sixteenth, then was caught by an outer foe late to end up with show. GOLD LIGHT was wellback in the two path, driven around the turn, cut the corner at the top of the stretch, and improved. NEO ZAPPER stalked in the four path, merged to the two path under a ride entering the turn, but made no final bid. SIR GAR D'LYON was wellback in the five path, coaxed along around the turn, and passed tired foes from the three path down the stretch. SCRAMBLER chased outside of rivals in the five path, was ridden around the turn in the four path, but made no impact. ARISTIDE MAILLOL veered in at the start, rated in the three path, was driven in the four path around the turn, swung from the six path into the lane, but did not factor. JAMALAMADINGDONG pressed the pace between foes in the three path but gave way in the stretch. MUSKET MAGIC chased in the two path early but weakened. HE AIN'T NO JOKE broke slowly, trailed in the four path early and never threatened. GIFT FROM HEAVEN tracked inside early but retreated.
