EL CHISPAZO showed the way in the two path up the backstretch, waited around the far turn before coming under a ride passing the quarter, kicked away in the three path down the lane, and was wrapped up in the final sixteenth. COPAZO stalked in the three path, was cued from the two path passing the three-eighths pole, could not keep up with the winning pacesetter from the four path down the stretch, but held place. PANDO trailed in the three path, was ridden around the far turn, floated out to the five path in upper stretch, and finished evenly for show. TRIPLE PASS tracked in the two path, was coaxed along in the three path around the far turn, but faded in the stretch. ST. LOUIE LOUIE raced in range along the inside, was ridden from the rail rounding the far turn, but weakened. LOOKIN FOR ROSES chased in the four path, was coaxed around the far turn, but made no closing bid. MAX'S MAP rated in the three path, dropped back between foes in the two path midway around the far turn, and did not threaten. COOL RAGS was wellback in the two path and never menaced.
