CENTERFOLD GUY was prompted from up close in the three path, bid under a ride midway around the far turn, took the lead while in the four path at the top of the lane, drew clear around the sixteenth, and held safe. PAXTON bumped with an outer foe at the start, settled in midpack along the inside, was driven from the rail around the far turn, angled out passing the quarter, floated out to the five path entering the stretch, and ran on for place. TAKE YOUR MEDICINE showed the way in the two path, came under a ride midway around the far turn, lost the lead at the top of the lane, fought on to the eighth pole, then faded late to show. NEW PLEX stalked in the four path, angled to the two path while under a drive midway around the far turn, but flattened in the final furlong. ANNA JEAN bumped with an inner foe at the start, trailed inthe four path up the backstretch, was driven around the far turn, fanned out to the seven path turning into the lane, and passed tired inner foes. STRENGTHNGUIDANCE had his head turned as the gates opened and broke slowly, raced off the pace in the three path, was driven in the two path around the far turn, but made no closing bid, ended up being declared a non starter. TROPHY COLLECTOR tracked in the two path, was driven into the far turn, but retreated. FLAT CAP chased in the four path but did not threaten. RAMESSES was wellback in the two path and never menaced. AFTER A STEWARDS INQUIRY STRENGTHNGUIDANCE WAS DECLARED A NON-STARTER.
