ASK THE MONARCH stalked an inner quartet, ranged up under a drive in the five path passing the quarter, bid while floating out to the seven path entering the lane, took the lead entering the final furlong, and drew clear in the closing stages. BLUE FASHION track in the three path, was roused from the two path midway around the turn, bid while floating out to the six path in upper stretch, and ran on but got out finished in the final sixteenth. VESPER CHICKS vied for the lead inside, held command while driven along the rail around the turn, could not keep up with an outer pair down the lane, faded in the final furlong, but held show. WIDERTHANAMILE raced in range in the five path, was ridden in the four path around the turn, but flattened from the six path down the stretch. HIGH HEARTS pressed in the three path, was driven between foes from the two path around the turn, but yielded down the lane. GOSHAKI GOSHAKI prompted the pace in the four path but retreated from the five path down the stretch. MACA ABARRIO raced off the pace outside of foes, was ridden in the five path around the turn, but weakened.
